Obey 2017 | June Goals
June feels fresh and exciting and new and I’m thrilled about it. There’s nothing like a new season to reset and jump in headfirst with new goals. This summer is going to be a great one. I can feel it!
First, to reflect on May…
–Be present. Put the phone down. Made progress here! – Find and budget for a June 10K June is crazy, and I had a hard time finding a 10K that fit my schedule, so instead I’m donating the cost of registration to my dad’s upcoming mission trip and running a 10K here by the Brazos on my own time!
–Research and commit monthly to one Waco ministry
– Update website and move shop back to Etsy Yes! You can visit it here!
–Create new book club list
–FINISH. ALL. TAXES. I made progress…but still have some to make! – Call my mama! We had a lovely weekend getaway together! – Try 5 Whole30 meals Well…I tried one. –Call all inside circle gals
May was good, y’all. I learned a lot about taking care of myself and building margin into my days. I implemented a bedtime and a wakeup time, and started my mornings with sunrise walks with Zoe and intentional time with the Lord. I can’t even tell you what a difference it made! Small changes, big life improvements.
And now, June! I can’t believe it’s summertime again. My biggest priority this month was to leave empty space on my tending list and focus on what matters most. And so…
–Plan social media for the month with intentionality
–Run a 10K
–Budget and stick to it
–Send birthday cards
–Call inside circle
–Create a new prayer journal for the second half of 2017
–Cross train and run
–Call my mama
–Practice social media free weekends
–Pray through prayer journal
–Practice memory verse
–Listen to chronological Bible reading
